Snow Was Lighter Than Expected

Disappointed children in Westport CT will be waking up on time and heading off to school on their regular schedule. While it did snow in Westport, the accumulation was minimal.
The national Weather Service has lifted the heavy snow warning that was in effect for lower Fairfield County, and, as of now, according to the Westport School District - schools will be opening on time. You should double check for yourself, though.
