Robotics Exhibit at Bruce Museum in Greenwich CT

robotics.jpgNow through April 20, 2008 the Bruce Museum in Greenwich Connecticut is hosting an exhibit entitled “Robotics”.

Robots have captured children’s attention for many decades and this interactive exhibit promises a fun, hands on learning experience for kids of all ages. Featuring 13 interactive exhibits, a Mars Rover replica, research robots from MIT, everyday robots like the Roomba vacuum, and industrial robots, children will see how robots function, gather and process information from the environment.

An added bonus is the incorporation of popular fictional robots like Optimus Prime from the Transformers movie and Robby the Robot from Forbidden Planet.

If you are not travelling for the upcoming winter break, the Robotics exhibit is a good choice for a day trip. The Bruce Museum is located close to Westport Connecticut in nearby Greenwich Connecticut.
