Westport-Kids.com is published and edited by me, Neena Nandagopal.

For those who don’t know me, I live in Westport, Connecticut with my husband and four children.

When our first child was born, I gave up my job as a CPA and decided to stay home and raise the kids.

I have always been inclined towards all things technical and have spent the last year developing websites. My original website, A Mom’s Life at NeenMachine.com, has grown into a successful parenting tips website and my fledgling site Blog Resources Online, provides good information for those looking to start a blog.

As my children grow older, it seems that my free time has grown smaller. I also realize that I spend a good portion of this “free” time visiting the websites of organizations that my children are involved in.

Since I am not the only busy parent in the Town of Westport I decided to create this website, Westport-Kids.com, as a one stop destination for parents to find information about events for kids.

At Westport-Kids.com parents will find a list of useful links to youth organizations in the Town of Westport, information on one time events, sign ups, and fundraisers that are open to the public - kid related, of course, and useful parenting articles.

Obviously a buzzing town like Westport has a lot to offer to our children and because of that sheer volume I do not list ongoing classes. Rather, something of note or interest is more likely to garner a mention.

I encourage guest posting on this site and always include a paragraph about you or your business and your logo.
